IX Solutions Welcomes Steve Fidelak, IT Consultant

An IT self-starter who is passionate about technology, learning, and keeping up with the latest tech—we’re excited to welcome Steve Fidelak to the IX Solutions Client Services team!

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Steve comes to IXS with previous experience working with MSPs in a support capacity. Steve has spent the last few years of his career focused on improving workflow and processes by finding ways to streamline or automate tasks while still maintaining quality and compliance.

Steve has always taken a keen interest in technology—whether it was replacing dead components and obsolete hardware, configuring new software, or building out custom cloud infrastructure. Since, he's turned that passion into a career, completing both the AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect certifications, and now diving into the world of Microsoft and Azure certifications.

As a member of our Client Services team, Steve will be focusing on maintaining strong working relationships with IX Solutions clients and providing exceptional support and customer service. His favourite part of the job is leveraging technology to find more efficient solutions and optimize productivity, as well as helping people—so it's the perfect fit!

When asked what he’s most looking forward to when joining IXS, Steve says “the culture, learning about IXS clients and technologies, and furthering my skillset in the IT industry.”

In his free time, Steve is an EDM DJ under the name “Fidelak” and has played at some big music festivals. You can check out his music on SoundCloud. When the headphones are off, Steve enjoys rock climbing, year-round mountain climbing (scrambling and ski touring) and riding his bike around Calgary’s extensive bike paths.

Please join me in welcoming Steve to the IX Solutions team. You can reach him at steve.fidelak@ixsolutions.ca or connect with him on LinkedIn.
