Welcoming Andrew Peachment, Senior Network Consultant

We are thrilled to introduce Andrew Peachment as the newest member of our IX Solutions team, joining us as a Senior Network Consultant. With a rich background in network infrastructure and an impressive track record of spearheading large-scale projects, Andrew is poised to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

A Bit About Andrew

Originally from Edmonton and a Calgary resident for the last 30 years, Andrew humorously navigates the world of Alberta hockey fandom, finding room in his heart for both city teams. Prior to joining us, Andrew dedicated a decade to the US bank Stifel Nicolaus and their subsidiaries, climbing the ranks through various roles. From managing VMware implementations and SMB networks to leading transformative projects like the Aruba SDWAN overhaul for a 500-site network, Andrew's journey has been nothing short of impressive. He holds a Bachelor of Science from DeVry University in Phoenix and is a proud self-taught learner who thrives on acquiring and applying new skills.

Andrew’s Roll at IX

At IX Solutions, Andrew will collaborate closely with our network team to craft and implement network solutions tailored to our clients' needs. His responsibilities will encompass network assessments and spearheading network security projects. With a keen eye for innovative problem-solving and a knack for transformative ideas, Andrew is eager to reintegrate with the Canadian market and leverage his international experience to enhance our services.

When asked about his favourite part of the job: “Learning new technology. Finding innovative ways to solve problems. Coming up with and scoping out unique ideas that transform an existing legacy footprint,” he says. “I find fulfilment in being part of the design process where ideas can be shared collaboratively and everyone is working towards a common goal.”

Life Beyond Work

When he's not overhauling network infrastructure, Andrew enjoys travelling with his family, especially to their favourite getaway in Palm Springs. California feels like a second home to them. With a love for building things, he has spent the last five years renovating his home and crafting a backyard paradise where he and his wife relish their time together.
